Pastor Randy Boston, Former West Chester Christian School Teacher, Charged with Sexual Assault

According to PA Homepage, the pastor of Bible Baptist Church in Shickskinny, PA, has been arrested and charged for the sexual assault of a student when he was a teacher at West Chester Christian School.

Randy Boston, 63-years-old, is accused of sexually assaulting a victim in 2008 when the victim was a first-grade student at West Chester Christian School. The victim reported an incident where he was ordered to the gym's basement after sticking his tongue out at another student. Boston allegedly took the young boy into a room and told him to pull down his pants before Boston performed oral sex on the victim, reported the PA Homepage. After, Boston ordered the victim to perform oral sex on him, according to court documents.

Boston admitted to being attracted to little boys in the past during an interview. He claimed to still struggle with his attraction and desire toward elementary school-aged children, reported police. Boston reported being attracted to this age group's bodies, specifically their butts.

Boston's bail was set at $50,000 cash and remanded to Chester County Prison. He faces the charges of sexual assault, unlawful contact with a minor, involuntary deviant sexual intercourse, and corruption of minors.

Legal Options of Victims Sexually Abused by a Teacher

Attorney contributor Guy D'Andrea is an experienced sexual assault lawyer and has worked with numerous victims of sexual abuse in civil lawsuits. Below, Brian highlights the legal options of victims sexually assaulted by a teacher.

"Schools and administrations are legally obligated to provide a safe learning environment to students enrolled. When parents send their children to school, they trust the teachers and staff to care for them and upkeep their safety. Unfortunately, across the country, numerous teachers have been accused of sexual assault. Schools should implement security measures to ensure the safety of students."

"Schools should implement security measures such as cameras, reporting systems, and background checks. If abuse occurs by a staff member and there were not adequate security measures, the school may be deemed liable due to negligence. An example of negligence is if a teacher was accused of abuse by a student but not properly investigated. However, there are numerous forms of negligence. Victims should secure the services of an experienced sexual assault attorney to learn about all their rights. Nonetheless, in cases of negligence, victims may have grounds for a civil lawsuit and receive compensation."
