Attorney contributor Jesse Forbes has had many years of experience in representing victims and families of child sexual assault. Bucci has this to say when asked what one should do if they were faced with sexual assault at school.
"Assault can happen anywhere, but to think that you are sending your child to a safe learning environment just for them to be subjected to a predator is something no parent should have to face. It is the responsibility of school teachers, supervisors, principals and district members to ensure that students who attend school is safe at all time. Safety measures such as detailed background checks, sexual assault training, and observations can be put in place to prevent predatorial individuals from getting a teaching job and being along with students."
"Victims of child sex abuse in a school setting have the right to fight for their justice and hold the predator, as well as the school and its school district liable for their pain and suffering. Victims and families of school sex abuse are advised to consult a school sex assault attorney to determine their legal options and the types of compensations they are entitled to.
