Who Can Be Held Liable After A Dump Truck Accident?

Attorney contributor Brian Kent is an experienced dump truck accident lawyer in New Jersey. Brian often represents injured victims or their surviving families for compensation after a truck accident. During a recent conversation, he addressed who could be held liable in a dump truck accident.

"Commercial truck accidents are different from car accidents in many ways. Trucks are much heavier than other vehicles and can cause more severe or even fatal injuries. If a dump truck is involved in a collision, it is important to find out what caused the accident - it may not always be the driver's fault."

"Victims injured in dump truck accidents may have the right to seek legal relief in the form of compensation, including medical bills, lost wages, and pain and suffering. In order to prove liability, victims must demonstrate that the trucking company was negligent in fulfilling its duty of care. This may include evidence of faulty maintenance, inadequate driver training, or violations of regulations."

"By retaining an experienced truck accident lawyer, victims and their families can make sure they get the justice and compensation they deserve following a truck crash. The legal team will conduct a thorough examination to identify all parties that can be held responsible for the accident and hold them accountable."
