Deceased Driver Identified As 59-Year-Old Isaac Garcia Of Robstown

The fatal incident involving a Ford F-150 pickup truck and a flatbed truck occurred Wednesday, October 23rd around 1PM, as indicated by authorities.

It is believed that the flatbed truck was crossing the intersection between State Highway 44 and Violet Road in the northbound direction when it was struck by Garcia's pickup on the passenger side. An overpass is under construction in the area, so it is assumed that the flatbed was coming from the project site.

Nueces County emergency services responded to the scene but eventually pronounced Garcia dead. The flatbed driver did not suffer any injuries.

An investigation is ongoing.

Anjali Nigam is an experienced truck crash lawyer who fights assertively for the rights of victims injured in truck crashes. He offered the following insight for those who may find themselves in this situation:

"In the United States alone, there are hundreds of millions of cars on the road every day. And while vehicles are incredibly useful in getting us where we need to go, a regular car ride can quickly turn deadly. This is often the case when crashes involve a truck of some kind.

Due to the nature of cargo vehicles, whether they be semi-trucks, tractor-trailers, or box trucks, they are likely to cause a lot of physical damage to those with whom they collide; bone fractures, brain hemorrhages, and spinal injuries are only some of the possible injuries.

Anyone involved in a truck accident that left them injured needs to know that the law provides ways to help people just like them to receive help with their medical expenses. This is achieved through a truck accident lawsuit.

Via this legal process, victims are able to bring a case against negligent parties who caused the accident. When cases are won or settled, victims receive a compensation that is based on all of the damages they suffered including physical and emotional trauma and even loss of income. If the victim of the accident was killed, the family or dependents of the deceased can move forward with the lawsuit on their behalf.

If you find yourself or a loved one injured in a crash involving a truck, reach out to a truck accident attorney with experience and resolve who will fight for the victim's rights until justice is served."
