Jason Amala is an attorney who represents victims of drunk driving accidents and helps them recover the financial compensation they deserve. Below Bobby has provided us with some of his knowledge on the legal options available to these victims:
In every state victims injured in drunk driving accidents and family members of victims who have died in drunk driving accidents may be able to file a personal injury lawsuit against the driver. However, ins some states there may be additional legal options for these victims.
In California, there are dram shop laws that allow victims of drunk driving accidents to file lawsuits against the alcohol vendor that served the driver alcohol prior to the crash under certain circumstances. California’s dram shop law only allows these types of lawsuits if an alcohol vendor or social host serves alcohol to someone under the age of 21.
