A massage therapist in East Los Angeles has been accused of having inappropriate sexual contact with multiple clients and sheriff’s detectives are searching for other potential victims.
30-year-old Antoine Flores was arrested on October 21 and was released on Wednesday, October 30 after posting bail.
Very little information regarding Flores’ alleged crimes is publicly available.
Anyone with information related to this case or who believes they have been a victim of Flores has been asked to call the sheriff’s Special Victim’s Bureau 24-hour tipline at 877-710-5273 or Crime Stoppers at 800-222-8477.
Attorney contributor Jason Amala, a sex crimes lawyer, has represented several victims of massage therapist sexual assault in civil lawsuits. Bobby has offered to add some thoughts on the legal rights of sexual assault victims:
“Massage therapists are trusted to treat their clients with respect and professionalism. But sadly not all massage therapists are reputable. This field has encountered major problems with workers sexually assaulting clients in both small companies and big chains like Massage Envy throughout the United States. Massage therapists who sexually assault clients must be held criminally responsible for their actions and victims may have grounds for a lawsuit against the perpetrator or even the business,” concluded Mr. Amala.
