Lawsuits For Sexual Assaults at Tattoo Shops

Attorney contributor Anjali Nigam represents victims in civil lawsuits against sexual predators and negligent businesses. Anjali has some thoughts to share regarding the legal rights of those who have been sexually assaulted at tattoo shops:

When you see a trusted professional like a tattoo artist, you never expect that professional to violate your trust. Most tattoo artists are trustworthy, but there have been some cases of clients being sexually assaulted at tattoo shops. Victims of tattoo shop sexual assault should be aware of their legal rights.

Filing a police report can result in an investigation and possible criminal charges against the perpetrator, but this is not always the only option for victims. In some cases, victims may have grounds for a lawsuit against a tattoo shop owner or artist for sexual assault.
