Lawsuits For Truck Accident Victims

Attorney contributor Marc Lenahan is an experienced commercial truck accident attorney. Marc represents accident victims and their families. Marc recently shared some legal options available for victims injured or killed in commercial truck accidents.

"Accidents caused by commercial trucks can often cause severe injuries or death to other drivers. Commercial truck drivers are expected to adhere to best driving practices to reduce the risks of accidents. This could include paying attention to the road and other drivers. Driving distractions have been found to be one of the leading factors behind severe accidents. A truck driver can be deemed negligent for acts including speeding, failing to yield to other drivers, and failing to obey traffic signals. A negligent truck driver can be held responsible for injuries and deaths caused by an accident."

"Victims of truck accidents and their families should consult with an experienced commercial truck accident lawyer to explore their legal options. This legal representative will help determine who is liable for the accident and if the victim can pursue a civil lawsuit for financial compensation. This lawsuit may file against the negligent truck driver, trucking company, or even the truck manufacturer. They will investigate the accident to help the victims and their families take their best course of legal action."
