California Man Charged with DUI After 2 Injured in Crash at Highway 23 and Highway 85 Intersection

A California man was arrested on DUI charges following a collision that left two other people injured in Watford City early Thursday morning, July 4.

According to North Dakota Highway Patrol troopers, two men were in a vehicle stopped at a red light at the intersection of Highways 23 and 85 at around 6 a.m. when another vehicle rear-ended them.

Both vehicles were seriously damaged in the collision. The two people in the front car were injured. The driver of the second vehicle, 25-year-old Keno Gomez, was not injured.

Gomez was charged with criminal vehicle injury (DUI) following the crash.
