Massage Therapist Christopher White Arrested on Sexual Battery Charge

St. Mary’s massage therapist Christopher White was arrested on Wednesday, January 15 for allegedly sexually assaulting a client at his business – GTO Health and Wellness Spa on Charlie Smith Sr. Highway.

Deputies said White works for GTO Health and Wellness Spa, which is located inside of a realty building on Charlie Smith Sr. Highway. Legal Recourse For Massage Therapist Sexual Assault Victims

Attorney contributor Brian Kent of AbuseGuardian.com has represented dozens of massage therapist sexual assault victims in lawsuits against massage therapy businesses like Massage Envy. Brian has offered to share his opinion on the legal rights of these victims:

Massage therapists are trusted by their clients to conduct themselves professionally and to treat these clients with respect. But sadly, not all massage therapists are trustworthy people. This industry has a serious problem with massage therapists sexually assaulting their clients.

Massage therapy businesses have a legal duty to protect their customers from sexual assault. In some sexual assault cases, the assault could have been prevented if not for negligence by the business. Many victims of these preventable assaults have taken legal action by filing lawsuits against massage therapy businesses.
