Wilborn is accused of raping the woman during a routine traffic stop inside of Lithonia Park, which is approximately one mile from the Lithonia Police Department headquarters. The alleged rape happened on Thursday night at around 11:20 p.m.
According to the police report, the victim was a 27-year-old woman and did not know Wilborn prior to the alleged assault. The report also says that a gun was involved in the incident.

What Legal Options Are Available to Victims of Sexual Assault by Police Officers?
Attorney contributor Brian Kent of AbuseGuardian.com is a former sex crimes prosecutor who now represents victims of sexual assault in civil lawsuits. We’ve asked Brian to share some information on the legal rights of those who have been sexually assaulted by law enforcement officers:
Police officers swear an oath to protect and serve the public. When an officer egregiously violates this oath by committing a heinous sexual assault against a citizen, it’s important that the victim is aware of their legal rights.
Reporting the crime so that it can be criminally investigated is a crucial first step. Additionally, there are some cases where these victims may have grounds for a lawsuit against the police department due to negligence.
For example, a police department could be considered negligent in a case of sexual assault by one of their officers if the officer had a history of sexual misconduct but was permitted to continue working for the department.
If you or a loved one is a victim of sexual assault by a police officer, you can learn more about your legal options by discussing your case with an experienced sexual assault victims attorney.
