Laurence Banville of BanvilleLaw.com, an experienced truck accident attorney, has shared the following comments on the rights that truck accident victims possess:
“When tractor-trailer accidents take place, they can cause serious injuries to all involved. In addition to the pain that the grave and sometimes permanent injuries can bring, financial struggles due to high medical bills can further worsen the pressures that victims feel, often reaching overwhelming levels. This is in spite of insurance policies, which can help cover bills though they are not always all-encompassing.
One can imagine the devastation when victims receive a letter in the mail from their insurance carrier stating that the maximum payout of the policy has been reached, especially if medical treatment is still ongoing and expected to continue into the future. When they find themselves in this situation, victims will wonder how they will ever be able to afford their medical care when the injury has affected their income-producing careers.
A tractor-trailer accident lawsuit can provide a path for victims and their loved ones to recover the full compensation for all medical bills, lost wages or loss of income, and emotional and physical pain. Fighting for this compensation is not easy, but plaintiffs who decide to work with an experienced truck accident attorney can rest assured that while they concentrate on healing and recovery, their legal team will be fighting aggressively for their rights.
After truck accidents cause injuries, there exist timelines for filing legal paperwork. For this reason, it is critical for victims to contact a law firm as soon as possible to be informed on what their legal options are and how each can be pursued.”
