Police Believe Massage Therapist Marty Crocker Filmed At Least 50 Clients
Massage therapist Martin “Marty” Crocker has been accused of secretly filming at least 50 women during and after massage therapy appointments. Crocker was arrested on Monday, October 14 and was charged with one count of voyeurism, but this investigation remains ongoing and additional charges could potentially be filed.
According to the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office (BCSO), a woman contacted the authorities with evidence that Crocker had secretly filmed her getting dressed following a massage at the Hilton Head Body Work studio. This led to an investigation by the BCSO and the office seized his electronic devices, including a phone, laptops, and tablets.
These devices will undergo forensic analysis, which could take several months to complete. At this time, there is no evidence that Crocker uploaded or shared any of these videos to the internet.
The sheriff’s office is currently searching for other possible victims. Anyone who believes they could have been filmed by Crocker has been asked to contact Staff Sergeant Eric Calendine at 843-255-3427 or Sergeant Seth Reynells at 843-255-3709.
Potential victims are asked to include the date of their massages, how they paid, a photograph of their face, and where the massage took place. Crocker worked at several Hilton Head Island businesses and also provided in-home massage services for clients.
Other businesses where Crocker worked include Fountain Spa HHI, Massage Therapy of Hilton Head, and Island Yoga.

Legal Recourse For Victims of Massage Therapist Misconduct
As a founding partner of AbuseGuardian.com, former sex crimes prosecutor Brian Kent has represented numerous victims of massage therapist sexual misconduct in civil lawsuits. Here is Brian with a few thoughts on the legal rights of these victims:
Massage therapists are trusted to treat their clients with respect. Clients are alone with these therapists in vulnerable positions, which means there is a high risk for abuse if untrustworthy people are working as massage therapists. When a massage therapist engages in sexual misconduct or other forms of misconduct involving clients, it’s important that these clients are aware of their legal rights.
If a massage therapist has violated their patient’s trust by secretly filming them, both the massage therapist and the businesses where the filming occurred could be investigated. The business could potentially be liable if any form of negligence allowed the secret filming to occur. For example, a massage business could be considered negligent if they were aware of the filming but failed to report or stop it.
