Attorney Contributor Discusses The Legal Rights Of Truck Accident Victims
Laurence Banville of Banville Law has provided feedback on the legal rights of those who have been injured in a semi-truck accident.
"It's common knowledge that semi-truck accidents can cause serious injuries that can forever impact the life of a vicitm. The most common truck accident injuries include:
- nerve damage
- traumatic brain injury
- neck injury
- back injury
- broken bones
Each of these injuries can cause pain for the rest of a patient's life and can cost hundreds of thousands of dollars in medical care. Auto insurance policies have set limits, limits that typically don't cover all the cost of care or any of the other financial losses.
A truck accident lawsuit is filed against all negligent parties and the compensation that can be obtained can pay for all medical treatments, wages that have been lost, physical pain, and emotional trauma.
There are strict time limits that apply when filing so be sure to contact an attorney as quickly as possible after an accident."
