Kristen has many years of experience representing victims seeking justice for tractor-trailer and semi-truck accidents. She recently sat down with us to share some legal options for those injured in semi-truck collisions.
"Accidents caused by semi-trucks can result in serious injuries or death. Large commercial truck drivers are responsible for following proper driving practices to reduce the risk of accidents. Distracted driving is one of the main causes of accidents, along with excessive speeds, failing to yield to other traffic, and ignoring traffic signals. A negligent truck driver can be held responsible for their injuries."
"It is possible to file a lawsuit against the negligent truck driver, but victims and their families might have a case against negligent third parties. If the driver was not properly licensed or has a history of traffic violations, the trucking company may be held accountable. A truck accident lawyer can help the victim and their family members get the justice they deserve."
