A man has been taken into custody in Pflugerville on charges related to a sexual assault that reportedly occurred in October 2025, according to NewsNationNow. The Pflugerville Police Department announced the arrest of 42-year-old Holt Marshall Field, a massage therapist employed at Pflugerville Massage & Skin Care, located at 112 W Pecan Street.
The investigation began after a woman approached law enforcement on December 2 to detail the alleged assault. She stated that during a massage appointment on October 29, Field made inappropriate physical contact, leaving her feeling paralyzed by shock. According to the woman, after the incident, Field remarked, "It was my pleasure to do that for you," adding to the distress of the encounter.
The victim arrived at the massage center only to find the front door locked, prompting her to wait in her vehicle until Field arrived. She later noted the lack of other patrons in the building, which Field attributed to safety measures. After grappling with the experience, the woman confided in a few individuals before deciding to report the matter to the authorities. Those conversations provided further validation to her claims, as detectives confirmed the accounts.
Court documents indicate that there were two additional incidents involving Field, one reported in 2019 and another in 2023. The affidavit emphasizes that there is no evidence to suggest that the victims from these earlier reports are connected, yet common patterns of Field's behavior have been noted.
In response to the allegations, an Emergency Protective Order was issued on Wednesday, preventing Field from having any contact with the victim. As of Thursday, he remains in custody at the Travis County Jail on a $40,000 bond.
Authorities are urging anyone else with information or who may have been affected to come forward and contact the Pflugerville Police Department.

In the aftermath of alarming incidents involving sexual abuse by massage therapists, families often find themselves navigating complex emotional and legal landscapes. To better understand the available avenues for justice and support, we spoke with Anjali Nigam, a Texas attorney with extensive experience in sexual abuse cases. In this interview, she shares vital information on the legal options families can consider when addressing these serious allegations.
Editor Darla Medina: Many people are wondering about their options if they’ve been victims in similar situations. What legal recourse do they have?
Attorney Anjali Nigam: Victims can file a civil lawsuit against the perpetrator for damages, which may include emotional distress, medical expenses, and lost wages. They can also report to law enforcement, which is crucial for criminal prosecution.
Medina: Are there specific considerations for individuals who may have been sexually assaulted during a massage?
Nigam: Absolutely. Sexual trauma can lead to deep emotional and psychological scars. Victims should know that the law recognizes the manipulation involved, and it can strengthen their case when pursuing legal action.
Medina: What advice would you offer to someone hesitant to come forward?
Nigam: Speak with a trusted individual or a professional who understands these situations. The journey can be daunting, but legal counsel can help navigate their options without pressure.
