Laurence Banville of Banville Law is an attorney commentator who has offered his thoughts on truck accidents that cause serious life-threatening injuries:

"It's no secret that semi-truck crashes are powerful and can seriously injure anyone unlucky enough to be involved in a collision. Common injuries from these accidents include:

  • amputations
  • broken bones
  • spinal cord and vertebrae injuries
  • brain damage

A truck accident lawsuit can help victims recover the compensation they need to treat and live with these serious injuries.

If a loved one is killed in an accident involving a tractor-trailer, this lawsuit becomes a wrongful death lawsuit. These lawsuits can not only provide compensation for a funeral but also can ensure that those left behind aren't impacted by the loss of an income.

There are strict time limits involved with filing a lawsuit so if you or a loved one have been hurt in a truck accident, be sure to contact an experienced truck accident attorney as quickly as possible.
